The Kenyan National Sports Council in cooperation with The Tutoring Center, Inc. has sponsored "Bobby" to come to the United States as the African Kenpo Federations top official with the understanding that Bobby will be bring Brazilian Jiu Jitsue to Kenya. Bobby is currently the acting President and Founder of the African Kenpo Federation. Bobby's internship will help him, the other leading black belts in Kenya and the African Kenpo Federation further promote and strategize the growth of Kenpo and Brazillian Ju Jitsu in Kenya while building his administrative and technical expertise.

Bobby is currently the highest ranking black belt in Kenya with a 5th Degree Master rank. Previously, Bobby has been honored with numerous martial arts championships including the Kenya Open Shotokan Championship, Kenya Team Shotokan Championship, and has held numerous Kenpo Championships. Bobby has taken this opportunity to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Neutral Grounds BJJ, under the leadership of Evaldo Lima, Royce and Rodrigo Gracie so that he can be the first person in Kenya to bring this art to the Eastern African Continent. Bobby has a wife named Alice and a young 6 year old daughter named Faith who are eagerly awaiting Bobby's return in early August.
